Admission FAQ\u2019s<\/h2>\n

1. What University are you affiliated to ?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The students who take admission at C.A.R.E. School of Architecture will be enrolled under the Anna University, Chennai.<\/p>\n

2. What is the intake capacity of C.A.R.E. ?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

C.A.R.E. has an intake of 80 students
\nAllotment through counselling \u2013 52 nos.
\nAllotment through management procedure \u2013 28 nos.<\/p>\n

3. What is the Eligibility Criteria for admission at C.A.R.E ?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1. Admission to B.Arch. degree programme is as per the norms of Council of Architecture, New Delhi and Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
\n2. Pass in HSC or 3-year Government Recognized Diploma with 50% aggregate and Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with 50% aggregate.
\n3. Pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)<\/strong> with minimum of 40%
\n4. JEE 2nd Paper with 80 percentile.<\/p>\n


4. What is the process for admission through counselling?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Admission through counselling is as per Anna University Single window counselling.

Step I<\/strong>– Fill in the On-line application form.
\nStep II<\/strong>– Personnel from our admission cell will\u00a0 get in touch with you to answer your queries.
\nStep III<\/strong> – Candidate is eligible for Provisional admission on part\u00a0 payment of fee, provided the candidate\u00a0\u00a0satisfies the minimum eligibility prescribed and subject to the norms of the school.
\nStep IV<\/strong> \u2013 Completion of Admission procedure on payment of full fees.<\/p>\n

7. What is the selection process for other state candidates ?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As per the\u00a0 norms of the single window counselling of Anna-university, candidates from other states will fall under the management Quota and will not be eligible\u00a0 to apply for the single window counselling.

8. Is it possible to provisionally admit a candidate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

NATA\u00a0 marks are\u00a0 mandatory, However, if the marks secured\u00a0 by the candidate in the qualifying exam is as per the norms of the school, the candidate is eligible for provisional admission subject to the prescribed guidelines governing admissions at the school.<\/p>\n

9. How will the final selection happen for Management Candidates?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Final selection is on a ranking system based on the cutoff (collated scores of the qualifying examination, NATA scores obtained).<\/p>\n

10. How will the selection be announced for management Quota?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The selection will be announced on our website.<\/p>\n

11. Are there any scholarships available?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, scholarships are available for meritorious students and\u00a0 candidates who have excelled\u00a0 in sports or any Arts, on submission of proof for the same.<\/p>\n

12. Is there any hostel facility for outstation students?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, Hostel facilities, separately for Girls and Boys, is available\u00a0 inside the campus. The accommodation is 4 in a room, with a separate window, fan, work-space & bed for each person.<\/p>\n

13. Is Transport facility available for Day scholars?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, Transport\u00a0 is available in\u00a0 specified routes.<\/p>\n

14. Will the school be providing stationery?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, only for the first semester, on payment, at the stores.<\/p>\n
