The School aims to inculcate in its pupil creative thinking capabilities, scientific temper, contextual sensitivity, strong social connect and a sense of empathy through a pedagogical approach based on understanding real time issues. We at the school believe that the practice of Architecture is above mere aesthetics and visually pleasing edifices but has more to do with &#8220;habitation&#8221; -people, culture and their environment. The school provides the right environment to learn Architecture and also serves as a platform that connects the academia with the profession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong style=\"font-size: 18px;text-align: left\">PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Our graduates will keep themselves abreast of contemporary discourses, assess the appropriateness to<br \/>\nactively create newer forms of\u00a0knowledge and engage in pluralistic practice.<\/li>\n<li>Our graduates will lead and collaborate, valuing individuality and intellectual diversity.<\/li>\n<li>Our graduates will emerge as guardians of relevant cultural traditions and ecological practices and Become agents of necessary change in society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Synthesize design solutions that are deeply rooted in local ecology, micro climate, and cultural heritage, translating an understanding of human-environment relationships into sustainable, contextually responsive spatial practices.<\/li>\n<li>Master the craft of architecture by integrating traditional and contemporary materials, structural logic, building technologies, and statutory frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Apply reflective investigation, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary sensibilities to formulate design frameworks that value social equity, acknowledge memory and respect diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>PROGRAM OUTCOMES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to create architectural designs that satisfy both aesthetic and technical requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of the histories and theories of architecture and the related arts, technologies and human sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the fine arts as an influence on the quality of architectural design.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of urban design, planning and the skills involved in the planning process.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the relationship between people and buildings, and between buildings and their environment, and the need to relate buildings and the spaces between them to human needs and scale<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the profession of architecture and the role of the architect in society, in particular in preparing briefs that take account of social factors.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the methods of investigation and preparation of the brief for a design project.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the structural design, constructional and engineering problems associated with building design.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of physical problems and technologies and the function of buildings so as to provide them with internal conditions of comfort and protection against the climate<\/li>\n<li>The necessary design skills to meet building users\u2019 requirements within the constraints imposed by cost factors and building regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of the industries, organizations, regulations and procedures involved in translating design concepts into buildings and integrating plans into overall planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>MANIFESTO<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE HOLD IMPORTANT\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We believe in being responsive to and fostering a deep relationship with <b>Nature &amp; Culture.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>We believe we must immerse ourselves in actively creating forms of <b>Knowledge.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li>We believe that the endless flow of rich activity of imagination and memory is a vital part of the process of learning.
