The Department of Visual Communication organized an insightful <\/span>Guest Lecture on Advantages and Disadvantages of AI in VISCOM<\/b> on 21st February 2025 at 10:00 AM in C Studio. The session aimed to explore the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Visual Communication, shedding light on its impact on creativity, design, and media production.<\/span><\/p>\n

The resource person, Mr. Joseph Ebenezer, Assistant Professor, Department of B.Des, shared his expertise on how AI is revolutionizing the creative industry by enhancing efficiency, automation, and personalization. He also discussed the ethical concerns, limitations, and potential risks AI poses to originality and human creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who emphasized the importance of understanding technological advancements and adapting to the changing landscape of the media and design industry.
