The Department of Commerce organised an insightful guest lecture on the topic <\/span>Mastering the Art of Corporate Accounting<\/b> on 4th August 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Summit Hall. The session was graced by Mr. M. Chokcalingam, Branch Manager, SHAREKHAN, Trichy, who served as the chief guest and resource person.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Chokcalingam shared his in-depth knowledge and real-time experiences related to corporate accounting practices, financial reporting, and the role of accounting in investment decisions. His session highlighted key corporate accounting principles and provided students with practical insights into how accounting concepts are applied in the financial markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who emphasized the importance of bridging academic learning with industry practices. The event was well-coordinated by Dr. R. Vinoth Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, who ensured the smooth conduct of the lecture.<\/span><\/p>\n
