The Department of Visual Communication, in association with the Institution\u2019s Innovation Council, organized an Inter-College Photography Competition & Celebration of <\/span>World Photography Day 2025<\/b> on 19th August 2025 at 10.00 am in Fulcrum Hall. The occasion served as a platform for young talents to showcase their creative vision and passion for photography.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Richard Vijayakumar, Writer & Photographer, who shared his insights on the power of visual storytelling and the evolving role of photography in modern media. The event was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and innovation among students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various colleges, making the competition vibrant and inspiring. The event not only honored World Photography Day but also encouraged students to explore photography as a powerful medium of expression and documentation.<\/span><\/p>\n
