ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The graduates of Electronics and Communication Engineering shall<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Pursue higher education and research, or have a successful career in industries or as entrepreneurs.<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability and attitude to adapt to emerging technological changes.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit leadership abilities, professional ethics, communication skills, interpersonal skills and life-long learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Engineering Graduates will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong>Engineering knowledge<\/strong>: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Problem analysis:<\/strong> Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Design\/development of solutions:<\/strong> Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conduct investigations of complex problems:<\/strong> Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modern tool usage:<\/strong> Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The engineer and society:<\/strong> Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Environment and sustainability:<\/strong> Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ethics:<\/strong> Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Individual and team work:<\/strong> Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication<\/strong>: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give &amp; receive clear instructions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project management and finance:<\/strong> Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one\u2018s own work, a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Life-long learning:<\/strong>\u00a0 Recognize\u00a0 the\u00a0 need\u00a0 for,\u00a0 and\u00a0 have\u00a0 the\u00a0 preparation\u00a0 and\u00a0 ability\u00a0 to engage in independent and life-long learning\u00a0 in the broadest\u00a0 context\u00a0 of technological change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>PROGRAM SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (PSOs):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Analyze, design, synthesize and provide technical solutions in the field of VLSI, Embedded Systems, Communication, Networking and Real Time Processing.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit leadership skills and pursue entrepreneurship and contribute in the field of<br \/>\nElectronics and Communication Engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PROGRAMME: B.E.
