Mr Anand Pichaikani, Managing Director, Modelon Engineering Private Limited was invited the speaker for the guest lecture. He is recognized as an expert in the field of model based systems engineering through contributions to the various challenging engineering consultancy projects<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">He introduced the <b>&#8220;Modelica \u2013 A Open source Language&#8221;<\/b> to the ECE and CSE students. He explained how Modelica can be used to model complex physical systems containing, eg. mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, thermal, control or electric power. He demonstrated a control system flow using Dymola modeling and simulation environment based on the open Modelica modeling language.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">At the end of the session, he narrated the industry requirements from a budding engineer.
