For SIH2022, two projects were submitted from the Department of ECE, One problem statement is \u201cPattern recognition algorithm to identify marine animals\u201d under the ministry of National Institute Of Ocean Technology, Ministry Of Earth Sciences and another problem statement is \u201cIdentification and location of voids in earthquake scenario\u201d under the ministry of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) under the Guidance of Mrs.R.Deepalakshmi \/ AP-ECE.<\/p>\n

From those two Problem statements, \u201cIdentification and location of voids in earthquake scenario\u201d<\/strong> under the ministry of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was selected for the next round and for that 2nd<\/sup> level, video Demo were prepared and uploaded in the link given by SIH2022 team. And that idea was shortlisted in the top 5 for Grand Finale 2022.<\/p>\n

SIH2022 Hardware edition dates and Nodal centres were announced by SIH team through Team Leaders mail. Hardware Edition dates are from 25.08.2022 to 29.08.2022 (05 days) and Schedule also shared in the Common Telegram group.<\/p>\n

For this PS, they allocated the Nodal centre in AD Patel Institute of Technology, Anand City, Gujarat and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) of the Nodal centres were shared through the Team leaders Mail ID. And Standee and T-shirt designs were given by the SIH Team which is mandatory for all the teams and Team members.<\/p>\n

Day 01 (25.08.2022) Started with the Inauguration of Local and Central level followed by the 10 minutes mentoring session of 3 expert panel members (Individual Ministry\/organization expert to guide the teams). Day 02 (26.08.2022) morning started with the mentoring session, they gave many suggestions and inputs regarding the project flow and time management. Evening of the day 02, Evaluation phase I Started and work continued round a clock. This is repeated for all days until Day 05.<\/p>\n

On Day 05 (29.08.2022), Full Demo and Presentation were explained infront of all the Panel members. They appreciated the work and congratulated the team members and the mentors for getting the exact output.<\/p>\n

The efforts of all the team members from the department who made this event a grand success is appreciated. The people behind the scene are Mrs.R.Deepalakshmi & Mr.S.Sriram Sundar who worked hard to bring this to reality.<\/p>\n
