The visit included <\/span><b>nine faculty members<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>40 students<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, providing them with an opportunity to gain practical insights into industrial processes. TREAT CLUSTER specializes in converting raw individual parts into assembled components, followed by welding and colouring processes. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications in the field of fabrication and manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the visit, students explored various <\/span><b>advanced machinery and fabrication techniques<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The key machines and processes demonstrated included a <\/span><b>Stress Relief Furnace<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for better finishing, a <\/span><b>Horizontal Machine for Cutting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Hydraulic Flanging Machine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Submersive Arc Welding and MIG Welding<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Sand Blasting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a <\/span><b>Horizontal Boring Machine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a <\/span><b>Sheet Rolling Machine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and a <\/span><b>Large Spray Painting Unit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. These industrial operations helped students understand industry aspects of machining, welding, and surface finishing, enhancing and connecting their theoretical\u00a0 knowledge and skills with the subject studied in the 3<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">rd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sem called ME3393 MANUFACTURING PROCESSES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The session was <\/span><b>guided by two fabrication engineers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Mr. R. Dinesh\/B.E Mechanical <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0and <\/span><b>Mr. R. Sugunthan\/B.E Mechanical <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, who provided detailed explanations of the processes and engaged students with hands-on insights. The event was <\/span><b>arranged by Dr. D. R. Rajkumar, HoD of Mechanical Engineering<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and coordinated by Mr.A.Antony Luki\/AP\/IIPC Coordinator ensuring an enriching learning experience.
