The IV semester course \u201cCS3492 – Database management systems\u201d was identified as one of Industry supported course in DAC meeting. As a continuation of it, one of the software development company \u201cPyroferus Technologies, Chennai\u201d was identified to guide the students in DBMS course. The training session was planned and scheduled from 18\/03\/2025 to 21\/03\/2025 (9.00 AM to 5.00 PM).<\/p>\n

Mr. K.Inbazhagan, Sr. Software Engineer, Mr.K. Jeeva, Software Developer, Mr. A. Premnivaas, Software Developper from Pyroferus Technologies were the resource persons for this hands on training session. They provided expert guidance and hands-on training throughout the event.
\nFirst two days were allotted to train II year \u2018A\u2019 section students and next 2 days were allotted to II CSE \u2018B Section. Topics under 1st unit and 5th unit were handled by Industry expert people. Lab exercises under DBMS
\nwere also practiced. During those session following areas were covered by resource persons.<\/p>\n

\n1. NoSQL Databases: Introduction \u2013 Document Based systems \u2013 Key value Stores \u2013 Column Based Systems
\n\u2013 Graph Databases.
\n2. Database Security: Security issues \u2013 Access control based on privileges \u2013 Role Based access control \u2013 SQL
\nInjection
\n3. Simple Application Development with Database Connectivity<\/p>\n

Software Used :<\/strong>
\nMongoDB, SQL Workbench, MySQL & Java using Eclipse<\/p>\n

All sessions were conducted in a hands-on training format, allowing students to execute commands in real time and observe outputs. They actively participated by asking questions and resolving doubts. Through\u00a0this training, students gained valuable practical experience in designing and implementing DBMS for real- time applications. They also explored various SQL tools relevant to database management.<\/p>\n

This initiative successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practices, equipping
\nstudents with essential DBMS skills for their future careers.<\/p>\n
