Organized by ISRO in association with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), START 2026 is the\u00a0<strong>fourth edition<\/strong>\u00a0of this introductory-level online awareness programme in space science and technology, specially designed for\u00a0<strong>postgraduate students and preferably final-year undergraduate students<\/strong>\u00a0of science and technology. This year\u2019s theme,\u00a0<strong>\u201cObservation from Space,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0highlights the scientific principles, technological developments, and societal applications of space-based observation, inspiring students to explore how satellites and remote sensing contribute to communication, environmental monitoring, disaster management, and national development.
