The Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, successfully organized a 3-Day Hands-on Workshop on U24MEMM07 \u2013 Drone Technologies<\/strong> from 01 July 2026 to 03 July 2026<\/strong> at the CAD\/CAM Laboratory<\/strong>. The workshop was conducted by Mr. S. Hari Prasadh, Assistant Professor, Head \u2013 Centre of Excellence for Drone Technology and IIC Vice President, Department of Mechanical Engineering, KSR College of Technology, Tiruchengode<\/strong>. The programme provided third-year and final-year Mechanical Engineering students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to modern drone technologies, including drone components, flight principles, assembly, calibration, and real-time applications.<\/p>\n

Throughout the three-day workshop, participants actively engaged in hands-on training sessions that enhanced their technical skills and understanding of unmanned aerial systems. The programme encouraged innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and industry-oriented learning while introducing students to the latest advancements in drone technology. Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong> and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)<\/strong>, the workshop successfully equipped students with practical competencies and inspired them to explore emerging opportunities in the fields of drone technology, automation, and aerospace engineering.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
