As part of the\u00a0Government of India\u2019s AICTE IDEA Lab initiative<\/strong>\u00a0and in line with the objectives of the\u00a0National Education Policy (NEP) 2020<\/strong>, the\u00a0CARE AICTE IDEA Lab<\/strong>, CARE College of Engineering (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, organized an\u00a0Open Day for School Students<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a023 July 2026<\/strong>. The event aimed to inspire young minds by providing experiential learning opportunities in innovation, design thinking, and emerging technologies. School students and teachers explored the IDEA Lab facilities through live demonstrations of advanced equipment, including\u00a03D Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Machining, Robotics, IoT, and Embedded Systems<\/strong>, while interacting with faculty members and student innovators. Hands-on activities, project exhibitions, and career guidance sessions enabled participants to understand the engineering design process from concept to prototype. The programme successfully fostered creativity, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills among the participants while promoting awareness of engineering, research, and innovation, thereby contributing to\u00a0SDG 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
