The event was conducted to provide students with an opportunity to identify suitable SIH 2026 problem statements, develop innovative solution ideas and present their concepts for internal evaluation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A total of <strong>13 student teams<\/strong> actively participated in the Internal Hackathon. Each team selected a relevant problem statement from the SIH 2026 problem statements and developed a proposed solution addressing the identified challenge. The teams presented their problem statements, proposed solutions, implementation approaches and expected outcomes before the evaluation panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The presentations were evaluated based on parameters including <strong>understanding of the problem statement, novelty and innovation of the proposed solution, technical feasibility, practical applicability, implementation methodology, potential impact and quality of presentation<\/strong>. Faculty members provided guidance and constructive feedback to help the teams improve their ideas and strengthen their proposed solutions for the next stage of SIH 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Based on the internal evaluation, <strong>8 teams out of the 13 participating teams were selected<\/strong> to further develop and submit their ideas for <strong>SIH 2026<\/strong>. The selected teams were encouraged to refine their problem statements, solution approaches and supporting documentation in accordance with the SIH submission requirements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Internal Hackathon enhanced students\u2019 <strong>innovation, creativity, teamwork, technical problem-solving, communication and presentation skills<\/strong>. It also encouraged students to address real-world challenges through technology-driven solutions. The programme supported <strong>SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education<\/strong> through experiential learning and <strong>SDG 9 \u2013 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure<\/strong> by promoting innovation and technology-based problem solving.
