The session was conducted by <strong>Ms. Shalini Velappan<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, Finance and Accounting Area, IIM Trichy.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The lecture focused on <strong>Predictive Analytics in Portfolio Management<\/strong>, with a deep dive into the Regime AI Strategy. Students learned how the strategy identifies macro regimes and adjusts asset allocation using predefined rules. Examples discussed included shifting to bonds and gold during a crisis, equities and crypto during a growth rally, and gold or bonds during inflation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The session also covered the growing role of technology in asset management. Students explored platforms like BlackRock Aladdin and discussed how automated systems are reshaping investment decisions. A case study on market analysis and automation added practical context to the discussion.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The program concluded with an interactive workshop. Students engaged in a dynamic Q&amp;A on predictive models and discussed real-world applications in finance.
