The session was conducted by <strong>Prof. P. Saravanan<\/strong> of IIM Tiruchirappalli. It was held for MBA students in the MBA Classroom.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">First, Prof. Saravanan explained the core idea of the Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH). He described how share prices reflect available information. Next, he discussed the weak, semi-strong, and strong forms of market efficiency.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Efficient Market Hypothesis: Theory to Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Then, the session moved from theory to practice. Students examined how EMH applies to real markets such as the Indian stock market. They also discussed market anomalies and the limits of efficiency. As a result, they understood why investors and analysts still debate the theory today.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Moreover, the session showed how EMH influences investment decisions and portfolio strategies. Students learned when active investing may work and when passive investing may be the better choice.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Finally, the session closed with an interactive Q&amp;A.
