Turning startup ideas into confident, investor-ready pitches.<\/em><\/p>\n

CARE Business School organised an Entrepreneurship workshop titled “From Business Model to Canvas to a Winning Pitch.”<\/strong> The session was conducted by Mrs. M. Ishwarya<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, and was organised by the Dean, CARE Business School.<\/p>\n

The workshop followed a clear content life cycle. First, students learned what a Business Model Canvas (BMC) is and why it matters. Then, they explored its 9 building blocks through real-world examples. After that, each student built a BMC around their own business idea. Finally, they converted this into a sharp elevator pitch and presented it live to receive feedback.<\/p>\n

The session went beyond theory to deliver hands-on results. Students mapped out customers, value propositions, revenue sources, key resources, and costs for a startup idea. They then compressed their entire business model into a crisp 30-60 second elevator pitch. Along the way, they also practiced presentation skills, time management, clear communication, and handling Q&A under pressure.<\/p>\n

In the end, the workshop gave MBA students something more valuable than notes \u2014 real experience in turning a raw idea into a structured, pitch-ready business model.\"\"<\/p>\n
