The Department of Design at CARE College of Engineering conducted the Even Semester Jury on 8 May 2026, featuring presentations by first-year and second-year B.Des students. The jury session provided a structured academic platform for students to present their design projects to an external juror, reflecting their learning progression and creative development.
During the review, students showcased their design works along with detailed explanations of their design process, conceptual development, prototyping stages, and problem-solving approaches. They also discussed the challenges encountered during the design process, offering valuable insights into iterative thinking and user-centered design practice.
The external jury provided constructive feedback, encouraging students to refine their ideas and strengthen their design communication skills. The session served as an important milestone in the curriculum, reinforcing critical thinking, presentation skills, and professional design practice among budding designers.
This academic exercise plays a vital role in shaping future-ready designers by aligning student learning outcomes with industry expectations and contemporary design methodologies.
