The Department of Design at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy successfully participated in CARE-XPO 2026, a one-day open day event held on 11 April 2026, where the campus was opened to the public to experience student innovation and academic creativity.

As part of the exhibition, first-year and second-year B.Des students presented their design projects to visitors, showcasing a wide range of creative solutions developed through their coursework. The students demonstrated their design thinking process, ideation methods, prototypes, and final concepts, engaging in direct interaction with the public.

CARE-XPO served as a platform for students to communicate their ideas beyond the classroom, receive informal feedback, and experience real-world presentation scenarios. The event highlighted the department’s commitment to experiential learning, creativity, and industry-relevant design education.

The open day exhibition also provided prospective students and parents with insights into the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program, its curriculum, and the learning environment at CARE College of Engineering.
