The Department of Design at CARE College of Engineering, Trichy successfully participated in CARE-XPO 2026, a one-day Open Day Exhibition held on 11 April 2026, welcoming the public to experience student innovation, design projects, and academic creativity. The event showcased the institution’s commitment to design education, experiential learning, and interdisciplinary innovation.

As part of the exhibition, first-year and second-year B.Des students presented their design projects, prototypes, and creative solutions developed through studio-based learning and coursework. Students demonstrated their design thinking process, ideation techniques, user research, prototyping methods, and final design concepts, engaging directly with visitors and sharing their creative journeys.

CARE-XPO 2026 served as a valuable platform for students to communicate ideas beyond the classroom, receive feedback from the public, and gain experience in design presentation, design communication, and real-world problem-solving.
