The Design Department at CARE School of Design, an AI-Integrated Design College in Trichy, successfully organized an Open House Exhibition, giving visitors an opportunity to explore student projects, prototypes, creative installations, and interactive experiences. The exhibition showcased work across Product Design, UI/UX Design, Interior Design, Visual Communication, Digital Art, Design Thinking, and User-Centered Design. Students presented their design process, research, ideation, and final outcomes, demonstrating how creativity and innovation solve real-world problems.

A major highlight was the Product Design showcase, featuring prototypes, functional models, material explorations, clay models, form studies, and rapid prototyping. These projects reflected students’ understanding of ergonomics, usability, sustainability, manufacturing, design research, user analysis, and creative problem-solving.

The exhibition also featured UI/UX Design projects, including mobile applications, website designs, wireframes, user journey maps, and interactive prototypes. Students demonstrated user research, information architecture, usability testing, and user experience design alongside graphic design, branding, typography, digital illustrations, visual storytelling, and creative artworks developed using industry-standard design tools.

Visitors experienced AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) demonstrations, showcasing how emerging technologies are transforming design, education, visualization, and user engagement. Sketchbooks, concept sketches, rendering techniques, visual arts, and design process documentation highlighted observation, research, ideation, prototyping, and innovation. The event enabled students to present their work, receive expert feedback, strengthen communication skills, and prepare for careers in Product Design, UI/UX Design, Spatial Design, Digital Design, and the global creative industry.
