On 11 December, CARE School of Design, an AI-Integrated Design College in Trichy, conducted a Linocut and Woodcut Creative Workshop as part of its hands-on B.Des learning approach. The workshop provided students with practical exposure to visual communication, creative thinking, design exploration, and artistic expression through traditional printmaking techniques. Students transformed ideas into meaningful visual outcomes through research, sketching, experimentation, and execution, strengthening essential skills for contemporary design practice.

The workshop encouraged creativity, observation, problem-solving, and attention to detail through a structured design process. By developing individual concepts and creating original prints, students gained valuable experience in concept development, visual storytelling, design thinking, and portfolio building.

As part of the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) curriculum at CARE School of Design, workshops like these extend learning beyond the classroom through industry-oriented experiences. Students enhance their design skills, explore innovative approaches, and build a strong creative foundation for careers in Product Design, UI/UX Design, Visual Design, Digital Media, and other emerging design fields.
