Course Outcomes:
1. Analyze Material & Surface Interaction – Demonstrate an understanding of how material properties, surface textures, and light influence form perception, depth, and interaction in design.
2. Apply Principles of Geometry & Proportion – Utilize geometric forms, proportional systems, and mathematical approaches to create well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing designs.
3. Develop a Strong Design Vocabulary – Accurately use key terminologies related to form, surface, texture, proportion, and material properties to articulate design concepts effectively.
4. Integrate Biomimicry & Natural Inspiration – Explore and apply principles from nature, including fractals, organic forms, and natural patterns, to create sustainable and efficient design solutions.
5. Incorporate Emotional & Contextual Design – Design with consideration for emotional impact, cultural context, user perception, and material expression to enhance aesthetic and functional value.
About the trainer :
Rajkumar Ramalingam is a highly skilled Concept Artist, Storyboard Artist, and Product Designer with diverse experience across film, advertising, animation, architecture, and themed entertainment design. He has Worked with Hasbro’s Star Wars team on concept designs for a girl’s lightsaber and droid companions, along with material and cost research. He has Contributed as a visual director, storyboard artist, and concept artist for independent films, Amazon Prime’s Underground Railroad, and VR student films at SCAD. Rajkumar has also Created cinematic storyboards for Amnesty International, TVS Ntorq, Fairever, and campaign posters for 1947.
Course Fee : Rs.500/- per head
This is an in campus program – 9 am to 5:30 pm.
