14th online Webinar on “Innovation in CUMI: Ceramics for Industrial & Advanced Application” was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CARE College of Engineering, Trichy. There are totally 32 students and 8 faculties participated in this webinar. E- Certificates have been provided for all the participants. Dean Academic & Dean R & D also joined this webinar and motivated us. Dr.Santanu Mondal, Head R&D, CUMI, Hosur, explained the various Ceramic materials such as Abrasives, Electro minerals, industrial, Super refractories ceramics and their applications. Also, he explained that the production and processing of ceramic materials. Moreover, he revealed some of the CUMI advanced ceramics products which are applicable in the field of wear & corrosion resistances applications, fluid handling application, automobile, and Ballistic protection applications. On the whole, it was a great and enlightening session. Our Students and other participants were got benefits through this online webinar.
