CARE Business School organized a guest lecture on “Working Capital Management” on Saturday, 10th July 2021 virtually through Google meet. The guest speaker was Mr. Ram Gorlamandala, Founder and CEO, Tat Capital. Expertise in Corporate Finance, Impact Investing, FX Payment, Family Office, and Working Capital Advisory. Mr. Ram is an Investment Banker specializing in assisting Australia/New Zealand & Indian Subcontinent growth companies with their corporate finance and strategic needs.
Mr. R. Venkatesh, Head, CARE Business School felicitated the guest lecture. Ms. Jayalakshmi delivered the welcome address and introduced the speaker.
Mr. Ram Gorlamandala started with an ice-breaking session where the participants had a cool interaction with the speaker. He spoke about working capital management to the young management students. He gave an in-depth explanation about working capital, its key components and how working capital management works. In his talk, he emphasized the importance of working capital for running a successful business. Participants gained knowledge about how working capital is arranged, he gave information about the source of lending, instruments, and typical working capital products. He taught the concepts with simple real-time examples that will help everyone not only to understand the concepts but also will help in applying this concept in real time scenarios. As a icing in the cake he summarized the session with four key takeaway points.
The entire lecture was interactive and finally, the students had a Q and A session with the guest speaker. The lecture was well received with admiration by the students and they also found the slides appropriate. The event ended with a vote of thanks.
