A guest lecture on “Impact of Web Analytics on Hospitality and Tourism” was held on 08 March 2024.
“Data Science for Social Good – Understanding Social Issues in Tourism & Hospitality Industry” was the focus of Dr. Soyoung Park, Assistant Professor – Hospitality & Tourism Management, College of Business, Florida Atlantic University. She gave a detailed presentation on the topic focused on wellbeing of travelers across the world and hospitality workforce shortage. Data sources for social media analytics was discussed. A student interaction about tools & techniques of data collection, data preprocessing techniques and impact on the society was discussed.
