Communication Skills

CARE Business School organized a guest lecture on “COMMUNICATION SKILLS” for the students of I MBA on 12.11.2024 from 11.00 am to 01.00 pm. This guest lecture on communication skills is designed to provide MBA students with a solid understanding of the ability to effectively convey, receive, and understand information, ideas, and emotions. It helps to improve the essential for building relationships, resolving conflicts, and achieving personal and professional success. 

The main objective of this session was to impart knowledge about,

  • Define and explain the essential elements of effective communication.
  • Differentiate between verbal and nonverbal communication.
  • Develop clarity and conciseness in speech.
  • Practice using appropriate tone, vocabulary, and language based on the audience.
  • Understand the importance of body language, facial expressions, and gestures.
  • Learn to interpret nonverbal cues in interpersonal communication.

OUTCOME:

  • Participants will gain a clear understanding of the key elements of communication, including verbal, nonverbal, and written forms.
  • Participants will identify common barriers to effective communication and learn strategies to overcome them.
  • Improved ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in various contexts, such as conversations, meetings, or presentations.
