Thus arose the series of programs titled “Start Up Trichy”.
Conceived by CARE School of Business Management, the second edition was held on 26 October 2015 and was Co-Chaired by Mr. Naga Prakasam – Angel Investor, Mentor, Fund Advisor, Partner at Acumen – New York based $100M impact venture fund, Mentor-In-Residence at NSRCEL & IIM Bangalore (IIM-B), Mentor at CIIE & IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A), Executive Chairman at Native Lead Angels Network (NAN) by Native Lead Foundation, Mr. Sukumar, MD, Acoustix India, Mr. Arun Robero, Director, Contura Group and Mr. B. Prative Chend, CEO, CARE Group of Institutions.
The session gave participants from various walks of profession the perks of being an the various non conventional funding methods. Ideas were brought up by the participants and their benefits and weaknesses were discussed. The participants were also given points of improvements as take away at the end of the session.
