Mr. Karthick Thenalur, Director – Fiind Inc gave real world insights on “Data Analytics” the next big field which has more than 4 million job openings.
“Data Hackathon 2017” was organized by CARE School of Business Management and Fiind Inc (A Data Science Startup) on the 25 & 26 February 2017. Mr. Kathick also remarked that there is a lot of space in the field of “Data Analytics” which many students are not aware of.
“The lack of awareness about Data Sciences and learning resources are the reasons why many students neglect this field. To bridge the gap and also to bring awareness among the people of Trichy, Data Hackathon 2017 was organized”.
Over 20 teams from various colleges across the region participated in the “Data Hackathon 2017” where a real world data problem was given and the teams solved them. The event gave a hands on experience on how to apply tools to analyse big data and come to a inference – a skill that is most essential to pursue a career in Data Sciences.
The winners of the hackathon were presented with cash awards and prizes by Mr. Karthick Thenalur.
