A Skype session on “Time Value of Money”

CARE School of Business Management organized a Skype session with Mr. Saravanan, Co-Founder & Certified Financial Planner, Purple Pond on the topic “Time Value of Money”.

“The time value of money (TVM) is the idea that money available at the present time is worth more than the same amount in the future due to its potential earning capacity. This core principle of finance holds that, provided money can earn interest, any amount of money is worth more the sooner it is received.” – Mr. Saravanan, Co-Founder & Certified Financial Planner, Purple Pond.

Mr. Saravanan gave a hands-on video tutorial on using MS-Excel. The first year students of MBA attended the session which benefited them.
