CARE College of Arts & Science Organized a Guest Lecture on “Job Opportunities in Capital Markets after B.Com” with Dr.S. Devarajan, Head Research (Technical & Derivatives), SHCIL Services Ltd., Mumbai.
Mr.S.Devaraj has rich experience in both academic and industry. He started the session with how to leverage the technology to learning trendy concepts and skills. He listed the various skills for B.Com students in 2025. If the students want to be industry-ready, they should learn stuff beyond the syllabus. He also gave insights on the skill gap in academia and industry. He appreciated the efforts of CARE College of Arts and Science on reducing the skills gap by offering industry guest lecture. There are more than 70 students participated and benefited. He listed various job roles in the online share trading space where there was more manpower required than a machine. The session was ended with answering the various questions of students. Along with students, Assistant professor and head of the department were present.
