CARE College of Arts and Science, Trichy, celebrated its First Graduation Day on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Padma Shri S. Damodaran, founder and CEO of Gramalaya, who delivered an inspiring keynote address as the Chief Guest. Mr. B. Prative Chend, CEO of CARE Group of Institutions, also graced the occasion with his presence.
Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal of CARE College of Arts and Science, welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report, highlighting the institution’s achievements. In his address, Mr. Damodaran emphasized the importance of setting clear goals and long-term objectives as key factors for career success. Sharing his personal journey and the experiences that earned him the Padma Shri award, he motivated the graduates to strive for excellence.
Mr. Damodaran distributed rank certificates to students who secured the top five positions in the B.Sc. Interior Design program and recognized two students for achieving 5th and 6th ranks in the B.Sc. Visual Communication program at Bharathidasan University. He also presented degree certificates to the graduates.
The event saw enthusiastic participation, with around 250 attendees, including students, parents, and faculty members from various departments.
