The CARE Arts faculty participated in a Knowledge Sharing Session on Understanding Anxiety & Simple Tools to Manage it Daily held on 14th August 2025 from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The session aimed to create awareness about anxiety, its impact on mental well-being, and practical techniques for managing it effectively in daily life.
The program was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who highlighted the importance of mental health and the need for faculty members to adopt healthy coping strategies. Dr. K. Boopiratti, Assistant Professor, Department of English, served as the staff coordinator for the event.
The resource person, Mr. Radhakrishnan Mathivanan, Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator, engaged the participants with insightful explanations on identifying anxiety triggers, understanding physiological and psychological responses, and practicing simple, evidence-based tools for anxiety management. He also introduced quick relaxation exercises, mindfulness techniques, and stress-reduction habits that can be integrated into daily routines.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where faculty members shared their experiences and clarified doubts, making the discussion lively and impactful. Overall, the program provided valuable takeaways for enhancing emotional well-being and maintaining a balanced professional and personal life.
