Students’ Debate on Offline Tricks vs Online Clicks

The Department of Commerce with the Institution’s Innovation Council organised a Students’ Debate on the theme Offline Tricks vs Online Clicks on 21st August 2025 at CARE premises. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their communication skills, critical thinking, and debating abilities on the relevance of traditional methods versus digital innovations.

The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who delivered the presidential address highlighting the importance of adapting to changing times while valuing conventional practices. Dr. B. Abdul Suban, Head, Department of Commerce, felicitated the gathering and encouraged students to actively participate in such intellectually stimulating discussions.

The debate was evaluated by the jury member Mrs. Caroline Josephine Vanhaltren, Assistant Professor, Department of BBA, who appreciated the students’ well-structured arguments and creative perspectives.

The event was coordinated by Mr. B. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, making it an engaging and insightful session.
