The Department of Visual Communication organized a Career Guidance Session on 28th August 2025 at 10.00 a.m. in the C Studio.
The session featured Mr. K. Surya Prakash, 3D Generalist and Technical Head, Image Creative Education, Trichy, as the chief guest. He addressed the students on the diverse career opportunities in the field of visual communication and media studies, with special emphasis on the growing demand for 3D design, animation, VFX, and digital content creation in the current industry. The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, CARE College of Arts and Science.
Mr. Surya Prakash shared his professional experiences and highlighted the importance of technical skills, creativity, and adaptability for students aspiring to build successful careers in the creative sector. He also guided students on the latest industry tools, training opportunities, and emerging trends, encouraging them to keep updating their knowledge in line with global standards.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their doubts about career paths in the media and entertainment industry. The resource person’s insights helped students broaden their perspective on the various specializations available in the field and the skills required to excel in them.
