The Women Empowerment Cell of CARE College of Arts & Science celebrated National Girl Child Day The Rally on Women Empowerment on 27th January 2026 at 12.00 p.m. within the CARE premises. The programme was coordinated by Dr. B. Devibala, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Staff Coordinator, Women Empowerment Cell, and was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal.
The rally aimed to create awareness about the importance of educating and empowering the girl child, promoting gender equality, and fostering respect for the rights and dignity of women in society. Students and faculty members actively participated with enthusiasm, holding placards and spreading messages that highlighted the value of girl children and the need for collective responsibility in building an inclusive and progressive society.
