CARE College of Arts and Science in Trichy held its first graduation day on Saturday, August 31st, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The event was graced by Padma Shri S. Damodaran, the founder and CEO of Gramalaya, who delivered an inspiring address as the Chief Guest. Mr. B. Prative Chend, CEO of CARE Group of Institutions, also felicitated the occasion. The principal of CARE College of Arts and Science, Dr. D.Sugumar presented the annual report and greeted the attendees with a warm welcome.
Mr. Damodaran emphasized the significance of working with clear goals and long-term objectives in his address, stating that these are essential elements for students’ career success. He divulged his personal experiences and the journey that led him to achieve the esteemed Padma Shri award. Following his speech, he distributed rank certificates to students who secured 1st to 5th ranks in the B.Sc. Interior Design course and recognized two students who achieved 5th and 6th positions in the B.Sc. Visual Communication course at Bharathidasan University. He also presented degree certificates to the graduates.
Around 250 members participated in the event, which included students, parents, and faculty members from various departments.
