The Department of Visual Communication celebrated the World Radio Day on 13th February, 2023. Mrs.Abirami, Senior Producer and RJ, Trichy Programming Head, Suryan FM was the Guest Speaker. Abirami delivered the speech on ‘Power of Radio Medium’. She recalls 15 years of journey with Radio to motivate the students in Radio Jockey and Podcasting. She remembered Usha Mehta, who ran the radio station for the Indian Freedom Movement to fight against British colonialism. She trained the Visual Communication students on how to use their voice for radio jockey and podcasting.
