The School of Commerce, in collaboration with the CARE Placement Cell, conducted the Barclays Lifeskills Programme from 23rd to 25th July 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Summit Hall. The programme aimed to empower students with essential life and employability skills to face the competitive job market with confidence.
The event was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who emphasized the importance of such training initiatives in bridging the gap between academia and industry. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Selvakumar P, Dean – Placement, who engaged students through practical modules and interactive discussions on workplace readiness, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Dr. Radhakrishnan Mathivanan, Placement Coordinator, served as the programme coordinator, ensuring smooth organization and effective student participation. The session proved to be highly enriching and beneficial, providing students with a solid foundation in essential career skills.
