The Department of Visual Communication organized an Industrial Visit to Light & Life Academy, Lovedale, Ooty, on the 26th and 27th of September 2025. The theme of the visit, Chasing Mist, Capturing Magic offered students a unique opportunity to explore the world of professional photography and visual storytelling in a natural and creative environment.
During the two-day program, students were exposed to advanced techniques in photography, lighting, and visual composition, gaining valuable insights from industry experts. The serene landscapes of Ooty provided a perfect backdrop for hands-on learning, enabling participants to translate theory into practice and capture the beauty of nature through their lenses.
This industrial visit not only enhanced the technical skills of the students but also inspired them to think creatively and expand their artistic vision in the field of visual communication.
