Seminar on Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Protection

The Department of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), organized an enlightening seminar on Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Protection on 25th September 2025 at 12.00 pm in Summit Hall. The session was exclusively arranged for the second-year students of B.Com (CA) and BBA.

The program commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an insightful session on the pressing issues of cyber security in today’s digital era. The Chief Guest, Mr. M. Beema Rao from Government Law College, Madurai, delivered a highly informative address. He highlighted the growing threats posed by cyber-attacks, the importance of protecting critical infrastructure, and the need for legal frameworks and preventive strategies.

The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, who emphasized the importance of cyber awareness and the relevance of such seminars in equipping students with knowledge to face emerging digital challenges. 

Adding to the occasion, Dr. K. Kalpana, Head of the Department of BBA, felicitated the Chief Guest and appreciated his efforts in enlightening the students with his expertise. The smooth organization and coordination of the event were effectively managed by Mr. F. Justin Joe, Assistant Professor, Department of BBA, whose guidance ensured the seminar’s success.
