The Department of Business Administration, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized the Business Spotlight Series on 01 September 2026 at 11:50 a.m. at the CARE premises. The programme featured Rtn. Mr. T. Jaya Kumar, Director, Bhagavan Steels and Farmlife Organic, who shared his valuable industry experience, entrepreneurial insights, and practical perspectives on business and management.
The session was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, CARE College of Arts and Science, and felicitated by Dr. K. Alex, Dean Academics. The programme was coordinated by Dr. K. Kalpana, Head of the Department of BBA. The Business Spotlight Series aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices by providing students with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, understand real-world business challenges, and develop an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
The Business Spotlight Series was envisioned as a continuous platform for students to interact with successful professionals and gain first-hand exposure to the dynamic world of business and entrepreneurship. The series encouraged students to explore new ideas, develop leadership and decision-making skills, and gain inspiration from real-world business experiences.
