The School of Commerce, Department of Commerce, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative), organized a guest lecture titled Pathway to Financial Excellence on 27th August 2026 for 2nd and 3rd year Commerce students at the Arts Seminar Hall. The session was conducted from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, featuring Mr. Karthic Raja, Branch Head, Veranda XL Learning Solutions Ltd., as the guest speaker. The programme was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, and felicitated by Dr. K. Alex, Dean (Academics).
The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of financial planning, financial awareness, and effective financial decision-making, while providing valuable practical insights into achieving financial excellence. Mrs. K. Sumathi, Head of the Department of Commerce, served as the Staff Coordinator. The session provided students with an enriching opportunity to interact with an industry expert and gain practical knowledge relevant to their academic and professional development.
