The School of Commerce, Department of Commerce & CA organised a special academic session titled Union Budget 2026–27: Key Points on 4th February 2026 at 11.50 a.m. to provide students with a clear and practical understanding of the highlights of the Union Budget.
The programme focused on key budgetary provisions, taxation reforms, fiscal policies, and their impact on the Indian economy, business environment, and individual taxpayers. The session helped students connect theoretical concepts with real-time economic policymaking and enhanced their awareness of current financial and commercial developments.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mangaiyarkarasi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce (CA), and Dr. R. Dhivyaprakash, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and was well received by the students for its relevance and academic value.
