The Department of Commerce, School of Commerce, along with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized a Guest Lecture on The Role of Corporate Social Responsibility in Finance on 29 June 2026 at the CARE premises from 10am to 11.30am. The session was delivered by Mrs. L. L. Rasiga Priya, Accountant at Annai Motors (Royal Enfield), Trichy, who shared valuable insights on the importance of CSR practices in the financial sector and their impact on business ethics and sustainable development.
The lecture provided students with practical knowledge on corporate responsibility, ethical financial management, and the role of organizations in contributing to society. The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, and Dr. K. Rajam, Head of the Department. The event was coordinated by Dr. R. Vinothkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
