Industrial Visit to Hatsun

The Department of Business Administration, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised an industrial visit titled Liquid Gold Rush: Exploring Cost Dynamics & Customer Delight at Hatsun for the III BBA students on 17 August 2026 at Hatsun Agro Product Limited (HAP), Madurai. The visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to the functioning of a large-scale dairy industry and enabling them to understand various aspects of cost management, production processes, quality control, marketing strategies and customer satisfaction.

The programme was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, and felicitated by Dr. K. Alex, Dean Academics. The visit was coordinated by Dr. K. Kalpana, Head of the Department of Business Administration, with Mr. F. Justin Joe, Assistant Professor, serving as the staff coordinator.

The industrial visit offered students an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the dairy production and distribution process and to relate their classroom learning with real-world business practices. The students observed the operational activities of the organisation and gained valuable insights into how cost dynamics, efficiency and customer-centric approaches contribute to the success of a business. The visit also enhanced their understanding of industrial operations and encouraged them to explore career opportunities in the dairy and FMCG sectors. The industrial visit provided an enriching experiential learning opportunity for the students and strengthened the connection between academic knowledge and industry practices.
