Dr. Sugumar Duraisamy, Principal of CARE College of Arts and Science, Trichy, holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Com. in Commerce, an MBA, and has cleared the SET examination in Management. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he specializes in areas such as corporate finance, global finance, entrepreneurial financing, public finance, strategic management, human resource management, marketing, and global marketing. A prolific researcher, he has published 20 papers in national and international journals indexed in Scopus and UGC CARE, including the African Journal of Business Management and the Turkish Online Journal of Distance Education and E-Learning. Dr. B. ABDUL SUBAN is currently serving as the Head in the Department of Commerce (CA) and serves as the IQAC Coordinator, ensuring the quality of teaching and learning practices at CARE CAS. With over two decades of experience in education and 10 years of parallel industry experience, his areas of interest include banking and computer applications. He has been honored with the Best Faculty Award by CARE CAS for two consecutive years, starting in 2022. Additionally, he received the Achiever Award 2023 from the Tamil Nadu GST Association, Trichy. Throughout his career, he has acted as a resource person for faculty development programs and student-oriented initiatives across various colleges and deemed universities. Furthermore, he has served as a board member for several universities and autonomous colleges, contributing significantly to shaping educational policies and practices.
