Skills for Future Bankers

CARE College of Arts and Science organized a Guest Lecture topic on Skills for Future Bankers for the students on the 20th February 2021.  The guest lecture was Mr. N.Sakar, Vice President, YES Bank Chennai. The Programme began at 20:00 Pm in the Google Meet. The guest was introduced to the audiences. 

We had a very nice session with Mr. N.Sakar, Vice President, YES Bank Chennai. He has elaborated on the various functional aspects of the banking industry and what are the skills sets expected to have for working in the banking sectors. Mr.N.Sankar has advised the students to keep the mind open and think big about the career. He has an intricate job role in the various functional area of the banks via assets management, forex, investment banking. He explained that banks will have more opening in future. Banks will take the students based on skills not based on the marks. Therefore he appeals that students need to study the concepts thoroughly and keep themselves updated by studying newspapers regularly. Over 70 students interacted with the Vice presidents and clarify their doubts about a career in banking. The Principal of the CARE college of Arts and Science welcomed the guest. Faculty and heads of the department were presented in the meeting. 

The whole session was interactive and interesting to all. The students enlarged wisdom from him. Most of the students willingly participated and interacted with him. He clarified their doubts on the topic. The lecture ended around 12:00 PM with a Vote of Thanks. The Programme successfully ended on time.
