Integrated Marketing Communication

CARE College of Arts and Science organized a Guest Lecture on “Integrated Marketing Communications” on 4th February 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM through Google meet. The guest lecture was an eminent speaker: Mr S. Sunil Allan, Assistant Professor, CARE Business School. The lecture was attended by 43 students and all Faculty members of CARE College of Arts and Science.

The guest speaker was heartily welcomed by Dr Abdul Suban, Head and the Department of Commerce (CA). The guest speaker Mr S. Sunil Allan, having rich experience in Integrated Marketing Communications. The session was very interactive and students participated enthusiastically. In the beginning, Mr S. Sunil Allan gave the introduction to Marketing Communications, Advertising, Personal Selling and Direct Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Public Relationship (PR) and Sponsorship. Later he explained the different verity of advertisements,   paid ads, sale promotion, and the benefits of IMC, the need for IMC, five steps of the IMC process, and the 8 keys functions of Marketing Communications. It will harness the creativity of millions of bright young minds. He gave a beautiful insight into the IMC and spoke about how students can be a part of it. Finally he summarized overall points and gave conclusions. The students actively interacted with the speaker.  He clarified their doubts on the topic IMC.

The vote of thanks was given by Dr Abdul Suban, Head and the Department of Commerce (CA) CARE College of Arts and Science, presented a small token of appreciation to our valuable guests. As per the feedback received from the participants, it was a very good learning experience; the lecture helped them in their understanding the Integrated Marketing Communications. The Programme successfully ended well on time.
