The Department of Visual Communication, CARE College of Arts & Science, celebrated World Radio Day 2K25 on February 13, 2025, at 10 AM in C Studio, highlighting the impact of radio as a powerful medium of communication.
The event was graced by Mrs. Abirami N, Senior Producer & RJ, Trichy Programming Head, as the Chief Guest. She delivered an insightful talk on the theme of World Radio Day 2025, emphasizing how radio continues to evolve in the digital age, connecting communities and shaping public awareness. She also shared her personal experiences as an RJ and the challenges of working in the radio industry, inspiring students to explore career opportunities in the field.
The program was presided over by Dr. D. Sugumar, Principal, CARE College of Arts & Science, who highlighted the relevance of radio in today’s media landscape and encouraged students to harness its potential for creative storytelling and responsible journalism.
